Ordinary Portland cement Type II

Ordinary Portland cement type 2 is defined as follows:

“As a corrected Portland cement, the application is using in concrete in which average hydration temperature is essential and sulfate attack is moderate too”

This type of cement is a typical product of most manufacturers and customers use it in common mortar or concrete making. Portland cement type II is one of the first products of MOMTAZAN cement factory.

This product has moderate sulfate resistance and a much higher compressive strength in comparison with minimum standard requirements. In terms of compressive resistance, this type is categorized as CEM I 42.5N according to European standards.
