Ordinary Portland cement – Type I-425
Portland cement type I-425 has been defined as cement type I with a compressive strength of 425 kg/cm2 according to ISRI 389.
The main features of this type of cement are similar to those of type II; therefore this type can as well be called type II, moderate sulfate resistance, with compressive strength class of 425.
Major applications are general constructions (most buildings, bridges, pavements, precast units, etc.). This type of cement produced by MOMTAZAN has better specifications and higher standard as those mentioned in the acceptable requirements due to high quality of raw material and meticulous quality control during production process.
In terms of compressive strength, this type is categorized as CEM I 42.5N according to the European standards.
Main Features:
-
Compressive strength in 28 days is equal to 490 +_ 20 kg/cm2
-
Better application in precast units
-
Faster casting
-
Possible reduction of consumed cement volume to achieve homogeneous concrete resistance
-
Chemical specifications of this type can allow it to be used instead of Portland Cement type II
